Rik Roberts Corporate Speaker

Rik made our annual conference! We tied in our TitlePAC fundraiser into his act and Rik was so accommodating! We also had problems with audio visual presentation but Rik didn’t miss a bit. Attendees commented that his comedy was hilarious but there was substance in his presentation on eliminating distractions in the work place.

Rik is a pro in every sense of the way and a great comedic talent. I recommend Rik whole-heartedly! Thanks so much, Rik!!

Fellowship Bible Church – Mission Fundraiser

Tuesday, August 16th, 2016

What do you do when your mission trip needs a fundraiser? Call Rik Roberts!

What a fun time we had at the Fellowship Bible Church in Murfreesboro, TN as we helped fund a mission trip to Africa. A small group from the church are going to Cabo Verde which is an island nation off the west coast of Africa (around Senegal).  The ministry focus is the Jesus Film Project which is part of Cru.  They are going to be 1) sharing the gospel and 2) helping them establish a ministry there.  It is extremely exciting and I am happy to play a small part in this adventure!

Bill Foley Benefit image 3 image 2

What a great night to celebrate the healing of my good friend Bill Foley. Anyone who ever met Bill would call him a great friend. Glad to see he is on the mend and was able to not only take the stage to sing – but also play guitar. The world is better with Bill Foley in it!

Also great to see Dino Tripodis, Jeff Gage & Larry Ramey as a partial MCTD reunion took place. Vince MorrisDan SwartwoutMary Stiers Miller and many others brought the laughs as well. Thanks to the Funny Bone for allowing us to help raise 4700 towards Bill’s medical bills.

If you are unfamiliar with Bill’s story, click here to find out more. It goes without saying, he was heroic beyond belief!

H4H Fund Raising Event

Was honored to perform (and run security) for Hunting 4 Heroes fund raising event in Leawood, KS. The group helps law enforcement officers who were injured in the line of duty get back on their feet both mentally and physically.

Part of the program is providing hunting experiences with fellow officers. Through the experience they make friends who have gone through similar circumstances and begin the healing process.

At the event I met 5 time All Star and World Series Champion Kansas City Royal Frank White.

Check out Hunting 4 Heroes and lend a hand.

Rik Roberts Comedian Fundraiser

I recently had a blast raising money for MDA in Georgia. The two young folks in front are incredible spokespeople and also had a few laughs. And, it was a treat hearing Ben Stein laugh 3 feet in front of me at the head table. All I could think of was Ferris Bueller quotes the whole time. “The question isn’t “what are we going to do,” the question is “what aren’t we going to do?” Anyway, it was a great event. The MDA is an awesome organization. Thanks to Mansfield Oil for having me along.
